Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are lead times for your products?

A: As of January 2023, BP Autosports has switched from a built-to-order manufacturer to a stocking manufacturer. This means that, unless marked as “out of stock”, the products you see in the Available Manifolds section of my webstore are in stock with no lead time. If there are no manifolds listed at a particular time, there no manifolds currently available. I will make announcements on my social media feeds regarding manifold availability.

Q: Can I place an order for X manifold?

A: No. As of January 2023, I have decided to discontinue offering built-to-order manifold services, and rather build manifolds to have in stock. I only sell what I have in stock, and will no longer be receiving deposits or manifold orders. This is for my sake to limit stress moving forward, and enjoy a life outside of the four walls of my shop.

Q: Do you sell individual manifold parts (collectors, flanges, etc) or DIY manifold kits?

A: Other than occasional manifold parts that may be found in the Garage Sale section of my webstore, I only sell completed manifolds.

Q: Do you offer manifolds for vehicles other than what is listed in your webstore?

A: No. The products listed in my webstore are the only ones I offer. It takes a significant amount of time and effort to develop a new product line (materials sourcing, prototyping, fixture development, etc) , and I simply cannot offer products for every vehicle.

Q: What are the differences between the materials your manifolds are offered in?

A: As of January 2023, BP Autosports manifolds are only offered in schedule 5 321SS. The differences between manifold materials are outlined here, and why 321SS is a superior manifold material choice.

Q: Do you offer downpipes and wastegate dump tubes with your manifolds?

A: No. With the wide variety of turbocharger options on the market, as well as differences in chassis that my manifolds are designed for, I opt to leave downpipe and wastegate dump tube construction at the customer’s discretion to allow these parts to be tailored specifically to their vehicle and setup.

Q: What is pricing for X manifold?

A: All pricing for my products can be found in their respective categories and product listings in my webstore.

Q: Do you offer sale pricing for your products?

A: I occasionally offer sales. I will make announcements regarding sales on my social media feeds.

Q: Do you offer manifolds in configurations other than what is found in the webstore?

A: No. The products listed in my webstore are based around predetermined and tested jig structures, build sheets, and design architecture.

Q: Will X manifold fit Y chassis?

A: If the chassis is not included in the “Known Chassis Compatibility” list in the manifold listing, the answer is unclear. I do not definitively recommend manifolds for chassis that I have not personally tested. If your vehicle is not included on the KCC list and you send me L-W-H measurements and photo documentation of your project, I may be able to offer guidance as to its fitment in your chassis.

Q: Do you have a phone number I can contact you at?

A: No. I am a one-man shop and am almost always busy. With this in mind, my time needs to be spent fulfilling orders as opposed to being on the phone. I’m able to be reached through email preferably, and can also be contacted through my social media pages.

Q: Do you offer sponsorships?

A: As a rare exception, but not the rule. The sponsorships I offer are at my discretion, and are few and far between. Typically they are the result of long-standing relationships and vehicles that perform exceptionally in a competition environment.

Q: Can you offer me welding advice?

A: I do not have a problem offering simple advice, but do not disclose the exact techniques, machine settings, and other nuances of my processes. This is my livelihood, and I do not soil my nest.

Q: Do you offer custom work?

A: I stay very busy with my production workload, and generally do not have room in my schedule for custom jobs. However, I will occasionally take custom jobs on. Custom inquiries can be sent via email. Do not take it personally if I am unable to assist with your custom project, as the vast majority of the custom inquiries I receive are turned down.

Q: Do you offer repair work?

A: No. My services are niche focused around production work, and I do not offer repair services.
